new poll set up and ready to go on home page

There is a new poll on the home page for you to vote on. This season A league premiership with only four teams left. Who do you think will win the Premiership, Sydney City, Melbourne victory, Wellington Phoenix or Newcastle Jets?
Well after the Sad sack destroyed the last two polls, our web master David has now changed the programme, so that it recognises your IP not your PC and then does not allow it to re vote for at least an hour.
This will make no Difference to 99% of our web voters but will considerably disrupt the people that post one hundred votes in a session. This means voting early and often will not help you in our polls.
There will be a new poll on later today for you to vote on.

A U17's coaches view of the season ahead

A view of the season ahead for the under 17’s coach John Boyle.
Last year the 17s had to come up from 15s, it turned out to be abit of a learning curve, we never made the finals, for the first time in six years, but only missed out by one point.
This year we will be playing in the 17s again, but this time we will be stronger (hopefully). We have lost 6 players from last year’s team for various reasons including Nick Roth, who is now playing for the Fire under 19s. Nick was a very special player for Kawana Force and will be very badly missed especially by myself. He was the heart, but it is good to see that the players have ambition to play as high as possible. To the 17s this year, we have players who will come good and take control. We have some younger boys who have already shown they are ready to step up. Two of the younger players to watch out for this year will be Daniel Dammarra and Luke Roth.
I have no doubt we will have a great year.
If any coach would like to write a few lines to the club about their players for this season, we will make room for it to be on our News section before the season starts. This offer is especially made to the Junior sides that are the blood line for the club.

Kindy Soccer in 2010

Its back! Yes that's right our Friday afternoon of fun for
3,4 and 5 year old's is returning in 2010 and judging by the number of inquiries so far its going to be bigger and better this year. We will kick off on the 16th of April and run through to 13th of August. So if your little boy or girl has some extra energy to run off please e-mail the club and get in quick, and join our kindy soccer its a great way to get the youngsters into football.
This is the third year that this format has been conducted at our club giving the younger members of our club the chance to participate in this fun and play like their older brothers and sisters.
This season the club has been able to secure the services of Scott Rocker and Jeff McGurk to steer the Kindy players through the paces. And numbers are very strong. We have also noticed a increase of players in U6 wanting to play SSF when they graduate from the Kindy's. For further
details on how your Child can join the fun please contact Kayleen 0417009158 who is organising this for the third year.
