TALKED THE TALK NOW WALK THE WALK
 | We have all seen the previews and wild guesses. Well at Kawana Force we have decided to be clever before the event and we have interviewed most of the coaches and the club asked for their expectations and their predictions before their First game of season 2010.
1. An unconvincing win by the odd goal, but a win is a win. It was not pretty but they did make us play for it.
2. A draw- Well I am happy with a point our performance levels were excellent, and it bodes well for the rest of the season.
3. An unfortunate defeat well it is never easy playing a team desperate for points and they were trying to avoid not making the Finals series.
4. A convincing win scoring at least three goals and not
conceding we had been due a good performance for a number of Seasons.
5. It was hard to play against a team a man down after they had a player sent off and I do think they will be fighting to avoid the wooden Spoon so I am reasonably happy with the outcome.
6. It was another of those local derby games there seems to be a lot of them on the Sunshine Coast Comp Fact are they are were awful and I expect us to spank them.
7. Well I take three or four goals any day of course I am pleased as we have not played for six months
and at home people will go home Happy.
8. I am expecting us to draw this one as we always play better against the Better teams and struggle to destroy the weaker teams, the way some other teams do.
One coach said that it was a penalty and the offending
player had been rough tactic all day. He also said that his player did not Dive. He was unsighted when one of his players put an opposition player opposition of the dugout with a tackle and said that he felt the referee was also guessing what happened and they seem to be Biased against his team and they are angels.
Well it is only football that can offer such CRAS Metaphors. We have not put names to these coaches so as not to pre-empt the result or amuse people after the event.
See you at the Game. They have TALKED THE TALK AND NOW HAVE TO WALK THE WALK.

The season is nearly here for Kawana Force teams
 | Well the season is quickly approaching from SSF to A/A. So
all players and coaching staff will be looking to get off to
a strong start and leave their mark on the minds of the
other clubs. This season should be great for the club with
the U12s defending their Double trophy season from last year
the young ladies from the U13Gs and the U16 ladies will be
hoping to go that bit further this season.
The U16Gs will be playing in a one Division comp so this
means that to succeed they must have their mind on the Job.
I am sure Coach Sonny will do his best to make sure they
enjoy their time representing Kawana Force.
Back to the boys of last season’s U12s, the Season due to
lose of numbers they will be combined with the 14 and will
have to punch above their weight. We are sure they will
do a good job.
There will be no shortage of players representing the club
in the U17s where we hope to field two teams one in each div
1 & 2. The 17’s div 1 squad lost a couple of players to the
Fire and to other local clubs but the coach is sure he will
be able to plug the gaps from his squad.
In senior Ladies we will have a team in Div 1 and Div 2. On
the men’s side, we will have 1st & 2nd division playing
on a Saturday;
There will be a division three coached by Mark Sawyer. There
will also be some spill over from our very strong 20+ div 2
squad. The last years problems of lack
of depth in div 1 looks to have been solved with a very
strong 12/13 very strong div 1 quality players with the 6
out of the 20 div 2 players that can fit right in and did so
against the Fire. There will be 2 Div four teams, one being
the famous Zimmers from last Season and the other last
seasons Div 3.
This season the club will not be fielding an over 35’s or
over 42‘s.
So if you are looking for some Football to watch, you are
spoilt for choice at Kawana Force.

I was recently surprised that in the England has playing in the northern Counties East the world’s second oldest Club and play Sandygate in the same league that is the worlds oldest Football ground. This is in the Sheffield area.
Talking of Things old A players in Northern Ireland at Linfield Noel Bailie has recently played his 990 Appearance all for one club. Noel plays Central mid field but I reckon he started out as a centre half Long before there was these pretty triangle of passing and Elaborate Systems.
Noel is sure he will be fit enough to front up next season, then it is up to the Coach to decide if he deserves to get to the 1000 Games. This is a true One club player I think Peter Shilton and Ray Clemance would have also made this many appearances but were goal keepers. Looking at our changing rooms with the Zimmer frames everywhere I dare say we will soon have a few at our club.

 | Its back! Yes that's right our Friday afternoon of fun for
3,4 and 5 year old's is returning in 2010 and judging by the number of inquiries so far its going to be bigger and better this year. We will kick off on the 16th of April and run through to 13th of August. So if your little boy or girl has some extra energy to run off please e-mail the club and get in quick, and join our kindy soccer its a great way to get the youngsters into football.
This is the third year that this format has been conducted at our club giving the younger members of our club the chance to participate in this fun and play like their older brothers and sisters.
This season the club has been able to secure the services of Scott Rocker and Jeff McGurk to steer the Kindy players through the paces. And numbers are very strong. We have also noticed a increase of players in U6 wanting to play SSF when they graduate from the Kindy's. For further
details on how your Child can join the fun please contact Kayleen 0417009158 who is organising this for the third year. |   |
